Paige 0 #1 March 17, 2004 For those in Ohio and for those who followed the shootings: Well, it turns out the Ohio sniper, McCoy (last name), was employed by my Dad for his high school internship. NBC and all the morning shows have been calling the office trying to speak to his Uncle that works for us. I met McCoy and thought he was a passive, nice guy. So did everyone else. You can run but you can't hide...from your genes. Paranoid Scitzophrenia (sp?!) runs in his family. The guy that works for us has a daughter with the same condition. I guess it just runs in the family. The sniper was obviously not medicated and had sever mental problems. It's a different situation knowing him but still wanting justice to be served. It is so wrong what he did but at the same time, being the right state of mind says a lot for people's behavior. Too bad he had to miss and kill an innocent lady My family may be traveling to one of those morning shows to go on and talk about it but I'm gonna stay out of the lime light. If I get drug into it, I'll post so you guys can tell me how goofy I look Small and strange world. I'll post anything more if I find out.Tunnel Pink Mafia Delegate www.TunnelPinkMafia.com

slug 1 #6 March 17, 2004 Damn I wonder if the press will pick up that the bad guy & Uncle worked for a dad of a skydiver. BTW way the wife and I hitched a ride home about 6 month's ago with a guy who used to work with the Green River murderer. At the time I joked with the guy that I hoped he work with the serial murderer at his night job. Hmmm R.I.P.

Gawain 0 #11 March 17, 2004 QuoteI met McCoy and thought he was a passive, nice guy. So did everyone else. Isn't that always the way? Seriously! "He was a very nice boy, didn't bother anybody..." From now on, anyone I meet that isn't an obvious extrovert or a blatant as*hole, I'm going to report them to the FBI... geeezz...So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! KawiZX900 0 #12 March 17, 2004 I went to Revere High School and when the Jeffery Dahmer story broke, all the teachers stopped teaching and just talked about this tweaked out kid that roamed their halls back in the 70s or whatever.... good luck with that. spooks suk. Accelerate hard to get them looking, then slam on the fronts and rollright beside the car, hanging the back wheel at eye level for a few seconds. GARYC24 3 #16 March 17, 2004 No comparison to yours. But. I worked at a place that hired the girl who was famous for stalking Michael J Fox..she was there a very very short time.. Another job where a guy killed his fiance in front her her teenage son. a few gangbangers making local news being shot and 1 doing the shooting. It's weird when your aquainted with such isn't it? Clownburner 0 #18 March 17, 2004 Forgive me if I missed something, as I don't follow the news too closely. But did he confess? If he didn't, then he's still 'accused' of being the sniper, as opposed to 'being the sniper.' Doesn't matter how much circumstantial evidence the news talks about, he's not guilty until convicted. Seems like a little thing, but this is one way the media helps start to remove the 'due process' from the 'process' and before you know it...7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth
Nightingale 0 #19 March 17, 2004 someone who is schizophrenic and not on medication is not responsible for their actions. they are quite literally out of their mind. My cousin is schizophrenic and is currently in jail for crimes committed when he was not medicated and doesn't even remember. edit: and for those of you wondering, both my cousin and I were adopted, so no chance of it running in our family, although my cousin, his biological mother, and his two biological brothers all have it. My cousin is schizophrenic and is currently in jail for crimes committed when he was not medicated and doesn't even remember. sure they are. they may not be aware of the consequences of what they do, and that should be considered in sentencing (although the overall threat and expense to society should be considered as well) but they are totally responsible for what they do, ignorance is no excuse.. if you turn downwind because you were unaware of which way the wind was actually blowing..who is responsible for your injuries?? the wind?____________________________________ Those who fail to learn from the past are simply Doomed.
