Help me choose... Jumpsuit Colors!

what would you guys think about #1, but with purple spandex on the sides instead of silver?

First I just wanna say thank god for spandex in jumpsuits!

I think the spandex should be the same-ish color as the material surrounding it. So yes, purple. And I like the design in #1, but if you start strutting around the dz with one hand on your hip and the other flared out towards the ground.. we'll have to have a sit-down talk.. ;)

#1

Even though the difference is very slight between 1 and 2, something about #2 reminds me of a (purple) Star Trek uniform. :D

And I like the back in both. Funky and shapely.

LOL!

That's the picture on the Bev Suit order form. I just made the .pdf into a .jpg and have been playing with the magic wand tool in photoshop to change the colors around.

Here's two more.

Man do you look oh i mean Would look sexy in #7.

The whole reason for the cuts in the Hot Bod is to break it up so that it adds to the shape of the person wearing it. Going with all the same color defends the purpose of the design of the jumpsuit.

Yes and no. The purpose of every design is "form follows function", like designing a building. The reason for the cuts is first and foremost to fit to a woman's curves/body shape better and to make the suit more comfortable. That is always the #1 criteria of any good design.

It is a bonus that these cuts will make our body look more shapely. The fact that you can color block a jumpsuit to death is fine, but I prefer being subtle with design. If you are short, like me, then you understand to not get carried away with color blocking. THAT is what will really ultimately defeat the purpose of a good design. Anyway, jumpsuits show a person's personal style and personality, so go with whatever makes YOU happy.

(Yes, I do this for a living. :P)

Nighingale ~ Sweetie, why do you have two threads on the same topic? Just kidding...everyone must go to the other thread to VOTE! ;)

Then I must be just the right height.

Modest, too! :P

Edited: All kidding aside, Mar, you look amazing in your suit. I have seen pics of you, and that works for you and your perfectly fit body VERY well AND it goes with your personality. It is a great suit for YOU, but everyone is different. I think that my next suit will be even less colors than last. I am more conservative and small, though. Too many busy colors overpower me. :o Nightingale can go either way with hers, probably...

I keep my suits conservative too. My current suit is all black with an emeraldish-teal color (not standard from Bev, I had it ordered) on the grippers and booties. the black has been great, even here in humid nasty FL. I don't think it's any warmer than any other suit, but it doesn't show stains from landings , etc etc at all. It's made of supplex and cordura booties/grippers, with the Majik mods on it. Those grippers are bulletproof. Bev does fabulous work!

I had Bev put the cool max lining on my JFTC jumpsuit. I can't wait till I need to order another everyday jumpsuit, so I can get the cool max lining in that one.

Let's see, you live in Calif. where it gets hot and humid. I say it is. Like I said, next everyday jumpsuit I get, it will have cool max lining.

I love Hot Bod Bev suits. Hint, if you break up the colors like you did with the yolk, it adds more shape for you and makes you look hot;)

Well, I could have helped more if you had done the catwalk for me. You and Amy in that shiny black one she has.....

Everybody looks hottest skydiving anyhow.

What's the deal with everyone's obsession over colors? I bought my jumpsuit and rig used, and I was perfectly happy with the colors it came with. I think you have to have too much money and time on your hands to worry about your color coordination that much. Besides, it all looks the same at 120 mph, right? :P

You should see the color scheme my buddy Wes has. It's all hot pink, purple and white. Pretty sweet for a heterosexual male. He bought his stuff used too, and we all rag on him for the colors but it makes not the slightest difference in his freefall skills.

I say close your eyes, and point your finger at one of the designs. Whatever it lands on is what you take.
