It has a laser range finder device and then a couple buttons next to the trigger to increase or decrease the the distance from your point of aim to the point of detonation. Other nice thing is it allows you to fire grenades, incediaries, gas canisters through a window, or even walls, with a delay so that they don't detonate on impact, but wait until they're on the other side.
