The reason I like orchids is they look naughty to me. Like vulvas. And there's such a variety.

Zenister's additional mention of roses brings to mind the joke about what some people think vulvas look like. clicky, involves word "sex". (Also involves words "bulldog" and "mayonnaise".)

Papaver nudicaule more commonly known as the Icelandic Poppy.

I'm not really sure why other than I took a photo of one in high school and have really liked them ever since. Always reminds me of a happy spring day.

This photo isn't a "perfect" example and I sure as hell have no idea where the original photo I took in high school is, but it'sll give you an idea.
