So, I grabbed the closest thing, a steak knife, and started to try to cut out the stuck part in little pieces. That was working, but very slowly. So, impatient me took the steak knife and shoved it down on the cork to just push it into the bottle. Well, it went, but so did wine all over me, the counter, and the wall! I'm lucky I have any fingers left, but the wine is good! And to think I did all this before I ever had any alcohol to impair my thinking.
