AggieDave 6 #1 March 8, 2004 Yup, our very own flypunk finished up his tandem rating (RWS) this weekend. He even finished in time to help me out getting some tandems done at SD Aggieland. Which was cool, since his home DZ is SD Houston and he was just here for the course. That was really cool, since I didn't have enough time left in the day to get all the tandems in by myself (we had some walk-in tandems late in the day that were told they may or maynot get to go that day). Oh, by the way, he did a kickass job in the course and he did a kickass job with his first real-live students. Congrats!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." AggieDave 6 #8 March 8, 2004 Quote I was wondering where you were this weekend! Awesome weather Right on it was! We were freak'n SMOKEN this weekend. Peir ended up taking 4 "live" student at the end of the day for his first "real live" students as a TM. That's on top of the 8 I took and the other one that Todd took as well. I told the first "real" student he took after he took him, that he was Peir's first "real" student. He was actually surprised, said that Peir did a really really good job and he didn't even know, it was like Peir had been doing it for a long time!--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." Jethers203 0 #9 March 8, 2004 He couldn't have done it without me. I was his first passenger ever. Yes, I said first!!! As a matter of fact, I did my first 3 tandems strapped to Peir. Yeah, said it again. The most memorable was the last one because we hit 187mph. Not to shabby. Well, congrats Peir and thanks for keeping me safe in the sky. I am happy for him, he is a great dood (just dont sit next to him in the plane, his gas could kill a buffalo, I guess he is going to have to hold it in with the tandems now) I really want to come out to Aggieland but the drive is sorta killer for me

flypunk 0 #14 March 8, 2004 Thanks to all and specially to Dave, I had a blast over at Aggieland, even if I am still sore from all that. Thanks for all the help and great advice Dave, we definitively will do that again, and Clint come on your protrac is lying, we hit 214 with Todd. As far as beer goes hell yeah, I'll be making my contribution to the keg fund for Aggieland, and bringing some next week to SDH since I only funjumped on Sunday (too beat up to haul anyone around). Aggieland rocks, y'all are great and once again thanks for everything...that even includes Sarah now you know that y'all can come and visit me every now and then as well ... TribalTalon 0 #18 March 8, 2004 oh boy. Yeah, we try to put pier right by the door so that when he drops ass (which is inevitable, at least at SDH ) we can just open the door a little to get some air. once, after he dropped a real bomb on us, we opened the door all the way and pier was clutching his seatbelt, probably thought we were gonna throw him out (and i was thinking about it)
