Not only did we get winded out on Saturday, but I also had to participate in a volleyball tournament (we finished 4th, but were hoping to win it). And then today, I wasn't trying to pound out the jumps as I'm still healing from a sore neck (a hockey injury aggravated by sleeping wrong if you can believe it). TribalTalon 0 #31 March 8, 2004 had a FANTASTIC weekend! the weather was friggin' perfect! oh man. best weekend in quite some time. made 5 jumps on saturday, 6 on sunday. some freefly, some belly, and 2 crw jumps, made my first biplane and downplane today. No partying on a weekend of potential good jumping, you may need to get out to the DZ early for a full day of diving Did 2:6. 2 on Sat because the winds early on in the day were a bit high and only 6 on Sunday because while I showed up at the DZ at 9am, apparently some people were nursing hangovers and sleeping in so we didn't have enough to make a load til a little bit after that. Got free video from some guys "learning" camera flying...all quite good too! A much needed release! It was a gorgeous day in SoCal too, mid-eighties, sunny, and breezy. A lot of people landed on the wrong side of the beer line, as least seven from what I saw......due to misjudging of the aforementioned winds...
