Carl Djerassi, biochemist, is known as "the father" of the birth control pill.

Methinks he might not actaully be in the pope's good graces then. :P

Men everywhere else, yes, the pope, no.

But then, this guy has sainted more people than every other pope in history. Kinda take the meaning out of it. I wonder how big my donation has to be to be sainted. (I alreday know the cost for knighthood)

What ever happened to needing three miracles and all that?

ps - nice pun.

Mine is a couple lines from the song "Plastic Jesus" which is an old sort-of country gospel tone. Its quite funny, if you've never heard it (and you're not offended with religous type jokes).

My 2 favorite sig lines:

"Schöner packen, länger leben"
Translates: "Pack more accurately, live longer" :P
Picked it up in a packing hall of some DZ I was visiting... can't remember where.

"Everyday life's just a detour on my way to the dropzone"
My ex and I came up with this on a Sunday evening, heading home from the DZ and wishing it was friday already... ;)

I guess I enjoy gentle ways of attention
"Caress is a whisper to your body"
"Sky Sisters and Brothers please land softly"
Because I care and I don't want to lose anybody.-Caress:)
I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being
right.

I was doing a two way baSe jump, from about 340' into a narrow ravine.
The other jumper was trying to get a really close opening shot.
Well, he got a little too close, and fell through my canopy as it opened.
It collapsed the right side, pretty much to the center cell and spun me 180.
I grabbed the rear risers, got it reinflated, looked ahead and saw that I was heading for trees at the side of the ravine. I turned 90 left, and immediately had to flare to land in the only clear area around.

Much to my surprise, I was never scared.
My sig line explains why.

Mine changes now and then. The current one runs through my mind on the ride to alti every time...

It's from Creed...but everyone knows that! And SUCKS to all who don't like Creed. You can kiss my :$.

The one I had for the LONGEST time was a quote from National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, and reflected my feelings of jumping in sub-freezing temps..."She'll see it later, Clark. Her eyes are frozen."

I'm thinking it's relating to Viking's rather 'extensive' arch...yeah??

Yeas, it is a rather "extensive" arch... it jusat looks likes a training photo from 1974??? I didn't think he was that old?

Bad Company song.:)

I knew that one -- and I like it when applied as a sig. :)
Mine is from my favorite t.v. show -- FIREFLY. My brother got me the DVD set for Christmas. EXCELLENT show! It ran last year, but of course, they canceled it after just one season. That's how it goes. [:/]

I also used some model paint to put that line on my helmet. I couldn't resist -- it's like my anthem, now.

As I can remember, the first movie I saw in a theater was a Disney cartoon called "Aristocats" I can't remember how old I was, but I know I was young...being born in '80 and all.:P
