Gawain 0 #3 February 27, 2004 QuoteDoes what happens in freefall stay in freefall? No. Especially if it's a safety issue. People like to share "kiss pass" stories, ash dive stories, incidents. I can't think of anything where it would not be discussed. So I try and I scream and I beg and I sigh Just to prove I'm alive, and it's alright 'Cause tonight there's a way I'll make light of my treacherous life Make light! FallingILweenie 0 #6 February 27, 2004 Gravity dictates that unless some mechanism (a parachute) is used to slow the freefall, then anything that happens in freefall will not stay in freefall but eventually will hit the ground.

JJohnson 0 #9 February 27, 2004 Well, we do get video...and that could end up anywhere.... So what happens in freefall is going to end up all over the place....hopefully stays in our community....JJ "Call me Darth Balls"
Andrewwhyte 1 #10 February 27, 2004 The rules in freefall are the same as everywhere in life. If your intentions are to hurt people or to make yourself look good by belittling others, you will acquire a social group who treats you the same way. If you open your mouth primarily to share the joy, you will bask in the joy of those around you. Criticism comes in constructive and petty flavours; particularly safety based criticism. In the eighties and early nineties a lot of people left the sport because they were subjected to petty criticisms by senior jumpers. In the mid to late nineties the juniors just told us old farts to fuck off and went freeflying. Now the senior freeflyers are faced with the task of not repeating history. I think relative work is a much more friendly discipline than it was ten years ago. The no criticism post dive style employed by Airspeed has been a major contributor. bobsled92 0 #14 February 28, 2004 QuoteWhat's the rule on this? **Does this involve a KISS PASS................ (if so, tell all.) At worst, it's like getting a wedgie at best it's a "lousy version of a peck or good kiss as it's in freefall. It's cute but, no big deal. _______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/
Clownburner 0 #15 February 28, 2004 If there's video, you can't deny it, so you might as well own up. No video = it didn't happen. Good or bad or indifferent. 7CP#1 | BTR#2 | Payaso en fuego Rodriguez "I want hot chicks in my boobies!"- McBeth
wingnut 0 #16 February 28, 2004 nope f you screw i up you should expect to be given shit on the ground for it, if sme one else screws up you should give them shit for it.... i still hear about the time i jumped naked and this chick jumped topless for her 200th jump... as we board the plane i find out she didn't know what a fruit loop is.. well i fruit looped her and didn't get my legs around her waist but more twords her chest.. lets just say certain part of my anatomy got a litle closer than she wanted... now it did make for some funny video but she always gives me shit for it now...... it sure was funny though...lol.... so in the end what happens in freefall does not stay in freefall.... but.. unless it was on video it never happend for real.... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
