diverdriver 7 #28 February 27, 2004 Highly tuned -27s will beat weak -34s any day. -34s CAN NOT pull more torque than -27s. They only maintain max torque to a higher altitude because of the increased heat tollerance in the turbine section. And then they have the 4 bladed props on them which requires a higher idle speed so on descent it can cause them to descend slower than the 3 blade otters.
