What was (or will be) your wedding song?

Hmmmm . . . I still don't get it. Guess I'll have to rent it to see if she is a whore or bitch or something . . . :D

Actually, In my opinion, she's quite good looking, and remarkably like your avitar. (Just noticed that one). Not a bitch, crab ass, or moody (well, ok, a little moody).

A compliment. now, watch it, and laugh with the rest of us. :)

Never look down on someone, unless they are going down on you.

my aunt had Steppenwolf's Magic Carpet Ride played at the end of the wedding. Also, I sang "The Wedding Song" by N. Paul Stookey of Peter, Paul and Mary at a friend's wedding. Lyrics for both songs below:

~~Magic Carpet Ride~~

I like to dream, yes I do
Right between the sound machine
On a cloud of sound I drift in the night
Every place she goes is right
Flies far, flies near
To the stars away from here

Well, you don't know what
We can find
Why don't you come with me little girl
On a magic carpet ride

Well, you don't know what
We can find
Why don't you tell your dreams to me
Fantasy will set you free

CHORUS
Close your eyes girl
Look inside girl
Let the sound take you away

Last night I found Aladdin's lamp
So I wished that I could stay
But before the thing could answer me
Someone came and took the lamp away

I looked
Around
A lousy candle's all I found

Well, you don't know what
We can find
Why don't you come with me little girl
On a magic carpet ride

Well, you don't know what
We can see
Why don't you tell your dreams to me
Fantasy will set you free

~~The Wedding Song~~
He is now to be among you at the calling of your hearts
Rest assured this troubadour is acting on His part.
The union of your spirits, here, has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
There is Love, there is Love.

A man shall leave his mother and a woman leave her home
And they shall travel on to where the two shall be as one.
As it was in the beginning is now and til the end
Woman draws her life from man and gives it back again.
And there is Love, there is Love.

Well then what's to be the reason for becoming man and wife?
Is it love that brings you here or love that brings you life?
And if loving is the answer, then who's the giving for?
Do you believe in something that you've never seen before?
Oh there is Love, there is Love.

Oh the marriage of your spirits here has caused Him to remain
For whenever two or more of you are gathered in His name
There is Love, there is Love.

Don't remember what we walked down the aisle to..it was not the typical one but along the same unidentifiable title lines.

BUT our first dance at the reception was to Sade's "By Your Side" from her Lover's Rock album [happy sigh :)

Don't remember, nor do I want to remember! It wasn't a happy time. When my divorce was finally final, I couldn't help but think of the title of an old country & western song. "Thank God, and Greyhound She's Gone!"

I personally like...."Time in a Bottle" by Jim Croce.....or "I will be there." by Steven Chapman.

For long as you live and high you fly and smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry and all that you touch and all that you see is all your life will ever be.

Would like it to be Depeche Mode's Enjoy the silence...

Words like violence
Break the silence
Come crashing in
Into my little world

Painful to me
Pierce right through me
Can't you understand
Oh my little girl

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Vows are spoken
To be broken
Feelings are intense
Words are trivial
Pleasures remain
So does the pain
Words are meaningless
And forgettable

All I ever wanted
All I ever needed
Is here in my arms
Words are very unnecessary
They can only do harm

Enjoy the silence

MEN: you can't live with 'em, you can't shoot 'em, but you can act psychotic and keep 'em off balance.
