However, in the last twenty years I've managed to avoid that trap and get tied up into a long term relationship. I'm thinking short term and just trying to enjoy myself. Somewhere in here I seem to have a need to make it without having someone to "prop me up". Which in retrospect, I think is why I've failed in my past relationships. No easy answer to this life thats for sure. The hard part about flying solo is when your an affectionate person. Tends to magnify what can be perceived as raw loneliness I think.
