Yes, by all means, let's break down into ancient tribes.

Ok...I know I'm Irish, but damned if I could tell you which of the 200 ancient tuaths of Ireland that I descend from.

Hey, me too! Most of 'em started out in County Cork before heading to NY, but I have no clue where they were before that...

you've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel loquacious?' -- well do you, punk?

Ahhh, sorry lass, I'm of the Connaught clan, hence the last name....you must be a Munster.

If you say so. All I know is, I'm a Rebecca, and damn glad of it! :)

"83% (Dixie). Did you have any Confederate ancestors?" :o:P

Yep, on my mom's side. Have an aunt who is a member of DAR. Grew up in a Military family and lived all over the US but I'm guessing it comes from my mom who grew up in Mississippi and had a southern drawl. Funny though, most who know me wouldn't associate my speech with the south.

Although the test results asked that question, I really don't know........................do know that my maternal Great, great grandfather was a union soldier..............

I was born and raised in Virginia............my grandparents (both sides) and my parents were..well............what some would call "hicks".......good people though. B|

Don't have to take any test, I'm from Georgia, born and raised Dixie, and DAMN proud of it! American by birth, Southern by the Grace of God!

But which part of PA.....makes a big difference. Its Philly and Pittsburgh with Alabama in the middle.

I had an ex-gf from just outside Pittsburgh that said "youins."

no, you had an ex-gf from just outside Pittsburgh who said "youins."

I thought it was y'uns.;)

And yeah, I grew up in toward the alabama part of PA. Think about a place that floods every so often, yet people still think it's cool to live there.:S funny, they do say krik for creek, warshington for washington and use gumbands to wrap up a group of things.

One thing I don't miss about that place is how nibby everybody is.:D
