sdgregory 0 #26 February 22, 2004 Was he just mowing his grass or was he actually riding the streets? If he was riding the streets is that even legal? edited because one of these days I will learn to type.
Kennedy 0 #27 February 22, 2004 He was riding along the street off on the shoulder, a good bit from traffic. And yes, riding them on the streets is legal in a lot of places.witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
EdC 0 #28 February 22, 2004 Just a note, golf carts don't float and never use your real name when signing the rental agreement. Also, pay cash when paying so there is no paper trail if you intend to sink the cart. Also, the ranger gets pissed if you park the cart on the green. There is a course close to me that won't let you take the cart off the path. They have installed 10" curbs all along the cart path to keep people from driving over them. Lee03 0 #29 February 22, 2004 Don't surprise me, I once saw a guy get a ticket for riding a bicycle while intoxicated. Seemed pretty stupid to me, he wasn't on the street, go figure.-------- To put your life in danger from time to time ... breeds a saneness in dealing with day-to-day trivialities. --Nevil Shute, Slide Rule
Kennedy 0 #30 February 22, 2004 That was probably a citation, not a ticket. Difference is when cops think someone is so drunk they're a danger to themself, they have to intervene. If it was actually a ticket, that cop should be whipped with his own pistol.witty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*
SublimeBreeze 0 #31 February 22, 2004 Quote LOL - Is She HOT? Somehow my sick mind just made me want to believe she's out there in the dark, scantily clad, freakin out the neighbors... Pretty bizarre, though I hate to admit, I've mowed mine in the dark. It's just amazing, in a given week, you just can't seem to find the time for everything.... enough to make a person crazy thats for sure. jjf Haha, no she wasn't at all. The wierd thing is it was in pitch black, she didn't even turn on any lights. All you could hear is the lawnmower going and barely see the silhouette of her. TitaniumLegs 8 #45 February 23, 2004 I used to have the same problem with a bunch of Marines who thought it was appropriate to jog through my residential neighborhood signing their Marine songs at early hours on the weekend. Usually I wasn't there (already gone to the DZ), but on the occasional day off, I liked to sleep in. At least these guys had the decency to wait until 9am instead of 8 like your "friend". jmpnkramer 0 #46 February 23, 2004 There is nothing wrong with 8 A.M. You live in a community with rules though so what do they say about noise? Have you even read them yet? Goto the next meeting and cry about it. I usually get up at 4:30 A.M. on work days and no later than 6:00 A.M. on weekends. Usually it is 5:30 A.M. I wake-up after 4HRS of sleep.
