bendywendy 0 #276 October 8, 2003 I don't think you'll get much of a choice. We'll probably kidnap you. You know someone else will check the spot - all of a sudden you'll look down at breakoff and do a double take. Just follow the first ones down. It'll be fun! CanuckInUSA 0 #281 October 8, 2003 Quoteanyone want to make a sunrise beach jump on sunday? I DO!!! I DO!!! But I have a question. Would it be better to stay up all night or to just drag my sorry ass excuse of a morning person out of bed before the sun rises? (keeping in mind I would have only gone to bed a short while before hand) I am very much looking forward to coming out to Sebas for the Bytch Boogie 3 1/2 weeks from now!!! Try not to worry about the things you have no control over
The111 1 #282 October 8, 2003 QuoteWe will also need a few people (depending on how many jumpers) with vehicles to pick us up and play ground crew. I don't have enough jumps to participate in the beach jumps, but I'll be there for the boogie and I can pick up some people on the beach (I have a truck).www.WingsuitPhotos.com
bendywendy 0 #283 October 9, 2003 Quoteanyone want to make a sunrise beach jump on sunday? WHOA, WHOA, WHOA - I am partying Saturday night and I am not dragging my butt up any earlier so a few people can go do a sunrise jump - I draw the line there. (keeping in mind I would have only gone to bed a short while before hand) nap on the way to tude dude. It is a incredible jump. To see the sun rise twice, air thick and smooth, hearing the waves crash on the beach and the fresh smell of see salt reaching you under canopy. Swooping and whooping your way to the sand and surf. I love florida
The111 1 #285 October 9, 2003 QuoteTo see the sun rise twice How you see the sun rise twice? I'm guessing if you time it right and the sun just peeks over the horizon at you when you are on jumprun, then by the time you are on the ground and your horizon is located differently, you'll get to see it "rise" past horizon again?www.WingsuitPhotos.com
Dagny 0 #286 October 9, 2003 The better question might be...who wants to drag themselves out of bed to pick up all you sunrise beach jumpers? Take me, I am the drug; take me, I am hallucinogenic. -Salvador Dali

I think a SUNSET beach jump would be more in order:) That way I could have a beer while I watch. No beer in the a.m. else won't be able to jump latr. Angela. bendywendy 0 #288 October 9, 2003 Yeah, sunrise jumps are fine and all but it I'm dead set against it at this event and I doubt the pilot is going to be into it either. I know from past experience that what usually happens when everyone starts whining and saying they want to do it and we give in - guess what??? 3 people show up because everyone realizes they are still too screwed up to jump. If they didn't realize it on their own we'd probably have to ground them if they did show up. So if two or three of you want to see sunrise. The beach is 5 miles from my house or 8 from the DZ by road. We'll draw you a nice map and then you can hook up with everyone for breakfast. I'll put you on that nice sunset load.
