I believe the film to which you refer was entitled, "Old Man Being Hit by Football." The remake won an Academy Award, and starred George C. Scott in one of his final roles. After watching that film Well, I was like one of those kids you see in that commercial about the new cruiser, a big bar of soap in my mouth.
