PhreeZone 20 #26 February 16, 2004 Uhh... that "Ski/Base" is an old trick. Check out Good Stuff from Joe Jennings to see some really nice footage of it. For that matter one of the old James Bonds has them doing it on a Paracommander. Slope soaring is another old trick, too bad most the ski trails in the US are too narrow to do it. You've got to get to some nice bowls to try it in. As for the plane, the pilot was trying the wrong thing he should have tried it with a much slower airplane like a Porter or a Cub. Plus the wingsuit pilot fell like a brick from the video.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
benny 0 #27 February 16, 2004 I was thinking the plane should have set-up below and the wingsuiter could dive down to the plane, rather than the plane trying to follow the ws down... Never go to a DZ strip show.

Plus the wingsuit pilot fell like a brick from the video. Fell like a brick no doubt... I thought the same thing, but sometimes my perspective is skewed. I've seen Joe's stuff but never a Bond fan really, but the other day, I saw one of his movies, he jumped and pulled in some sort of bubble that he landed in, I thought, how awesome is that! Personally, I can't wait until the first wingsuit flyer lands himself without a parachute. That will be a great day!! and Phree, I've noticed that your so helpful & informative on these forums... thanks!
JoeyRamone 0 #29 February 16, 2004 sorry i got to go with putz i give the man mad props for his skills ... but after meeting him in daytona i can honestly say he is a straight up rude... well ok im not going to say ...but you get what i mean . he behaved like a 12 year old kid at the resturant i was at and left a small fan in tears ...who only wanted a tee shirt signed and asked very politely.. *** Jesse James is a total prick to some and cool to others. It is his way or go to hell. I know him personally. As for building bikes he is the only one who makes every part unlike OCC who needs to order all there parts. Jesse has offered OCC to a bike build off and they said NO. Jesse also has a car fabrication business, a custom wheel business and a few other side projects. Don't believe everything you see on TV. Here is us at his party and can he put on a party.... 3 bands the metal mulitia and porn stars....Oh ya free food and beer too.

AntiPinkChrissy 0 #31 February 16, 2004 I thought it was a pretty good show, they had some great footage. The part I really liked is how some of them backed out of a jump because they felt it was above their limitations and how they talked about how they still got nervous before certain jumps. Maybe this will help people realize that they don't have to do something just because everyone else is doing it and it is ok to wait for the right conditions to make a jump (BASE or skydiving) ~La La Gang Member #2~

I do know Miles. I think he's a heck of a guy. Friendly, open, caring, always willing to help out. I get the impression he is one of "those guys" you know the ones who start extreme sports to get attention to overcome an isecurity. I merely said I wouldn't want to jump with him. I never said anything about his character. Although he demonstrates a lot of skill, he seems way too goofy and like he is TRYING WAAAY too hard. Skydive2 1 #39 February 17, 2004 QuoteGimme the OCC crew or Bourget anyday Speaking of the OCC guys, does anyone know if they have jumped? I was watching an epsoide of OCC and they had a shot of Paul Jr and Sr in their office. On the desk in the back ground was 2 pictures of guys exiting what looked like an Otter. ???? hookitt 1 #43 February 17, 2004 QuoteI dont like this Miles Daisher guy. see my post in general Ah man... Miles was in it? Now I really wish I'd seen the program. Miles is a great guy.. I can imagine he was being himself... he's really like that. Also, He's a Bad ass Freeflyer (Dust Devils), talented Tandem Master... (He gets the best compliments and repeat business and quick to react when reaction is needed), Can swoop a canopy with skill and accuracy. I could see why you wouldn't like him There's nothing fake about that guy he's just a Very Dialed in Nut of a man. He's a friendly positive life force. If you ever need reminding that life is good, hang out with him some day. Oh, to top it off, he's a really good break dancer (windmills baby!!!... ) and wrote and performs a top notch rap song. He sang it at one of the Byron boogies, I took me a while to figure out he wasn't lip syncing. "This song goes out to all the virgins... Thanks for Nuthin"!!! -Miles DMy grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
