They also said it's probably not more than a 3 hour drive from Cleveland. Gimme the 411. I'll be at SGC every chance I get this summer but it's ALSO a 3 hour drive. JumpCrazy 0 #9 February 17, 2004 Yes, SOBE is now owed or managed or whatever by the same guy who manages Skydive Techumseh (Ron Palowski or something like that). He is an awesome person and is very accomodating to all newcomers to his DZClay, The ride to altitude in Tecumseh is extremely quick. Either they have the fastest Otter anywhere or the most badass pilot around (probably both). I am just learning freeflying but from what I can tell, the freefly scene is great, and the swooping skill there is impressive too. The nightlife is also very cool, and the people are very niceThis was quite the rant but no, Techumseh is not my home DZ. AntiPinkChrissy 0 #16 February 17, 2004 You should definitley come check it out! We have some great freeflyers at Tecumseh, a couple of them have been part of state records. We have a huge landing area, awesome plane, friendly people...and the list goes on. We try to have bonfires every weekend...unless we have nothing left to burn and we party at the trailers every night. There is camping available and have showers onsight and town is just a short 5 minute drive away if you actually need to leave the DZ for something. We have a TON of fun things planned for the season, as things are confirmed I will be sure to let everyone know!
