ifics 0 #1 February 17, 2004 I was wondering how many people out there have more then one, I have seen a couple people at the DZ with 2. Overkill? Or necessary for you to get more jumps in?
wmw999 2,447 #2 February 17, 2004 Technically, I do. But I'm about to be a 1-rigger. I've used my old gear (which I actually like a lot) twice in the last year, so it's just not worth it. wingnut 0 #3 February 17, 2004 well i have 3 rigs actually... only one realy good one though... the other two are pretty old and well som people wonder why i hav em.. but as it works out there is always somebody needing a rig to jump so they get loaned out.... pluss they were such a good price i couldn't pass em up... heck picked up one for 200 bucks and it isn't bad... ______________________________________ "i have no reader's digest version"
flyangel2 2 #4 February 17, 2004 At one time when I worked at the DZ I had two freefall rigs and one CReW rig. Now that I don't work at a DZ anymore, I got rid of one of the freefall rigs. BikerBabe 0 #5 February 17, 2004 I have two. It makes training weekends run a lot smoother on both me and my packer. Rainbo 0 #6 February 17, 2004 Actually I think I have 5 rigs. I save too much stuff (say pack rat). Most people would not even think about jumping some of them but I would. pilotdave 0 #7 February 17, 2004 I will own two next month when my new container arrives, at least until I sell my old one. If I can't find a buyer willing to pay a reasonable price, it'll just be my backup rig for a while. Dave
JJohnson 0 #8 February 17, 2004 I had two, sold one a while back. I got a second canopy that needs a rig. Soon as I get a few issues cleared up I hope to get that 2nd rig.JJ "Call me Darth Balls"

John4455 0 #11 February 17, 2004 I have three. I for accuracy/demos, one for birdman jumps, and one with a crossfire that works great for video. My goal is to have ten rigs, so I can make ten jumps at the DZ rather quickly, take them all home and pack them in climate controlled comfort. I doubt that day will ever come though. How do ya like it Johnny?
bkdice 0 #12 February 17, 2004 I only have 1 right now - but will probably order a 2nd one by the end of the year. Don't need it yet. It will be good for when I start shooting video and when I want to jump a lot. My boyfriend has 2 and it makes his life much easier when he's busy at the dz or if one is being serviced - he has a spare. A lot of instructors @ our DZ have two rigs.... that way they can make back-to-back loads, or just not have to wait for their rig to get packed. And yeah, it definitely allows you to do more jumping.
