DaGimp 0 #26 February 18, 2004 two main reasons why i have 2. 1. I am a video flier at my DZ and when it gets busy i may have to hotload so having the second rig allows me to land, film the landing and grab my second rig to run out to the plane. 2. Boogie jump slut. 2 rigs allows me less down time. Of course I need a packer then. but i hate to pack anyway so it works out fine."Professor of Pimpology"~~~Bolas

Ron 10 #28 February 18, 2004 CREW also ritten as CRW is Canopy relative work. Most CRW is done with canopies designed for that they are usually 7 cell ZP canopies that have retractable pilot cutes and no D bag. They use a tail pocket like BASE rigs. They open very fast and not so good to take to terminal."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,

jimmytavino 16 #30 February 18, 2004 I do... primary rig is a javelin with a PD spectre swiftplus reserve and cypress...... made about 90 % of my jumps last year with it.. secondary rig is a JumpShack Racer with an RW Challenger 240 , swift plus reserve,,, no cypres...I use it for accuracy jumps..occasional back to back loads and the few times where there is a slot available on the sunset load,, and I didn't have a chance to pack my spectre.....Both are BOC deploy and roughly similar in size of main canopy.. bobsled92 0 #32 February 18, 2004 3 rigs/ 2 I jump with now (1st rig kept for nostalgia = I bought 13yrs ago) Main rig for being PERFECT and ALL new top of the line gear. 2nd rig good for sport accuracy and some Crw = 220 triathalon. I also lend it to friends that are off student stat, need gear to jump but, REALLY don't need a 220 in 50 more jumps._______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/
sdgregory 0 #33 February 18, 2004 Well, I know I am probably way ahead of myself, but I am working on my second rig. Hell I thought everyone who has been in the sport a while had two rigs. I figure it is great if you want to hit back to back loads. Actually, my first rig is not the colors I would have chosen but I still like it and got my Bev Suit to match it. This new one is exactly how I want it and hell I figured, get a suit to match it too. Maybe I should sell one . . . nah!
frankiebrina 0 #34 February 18, 2004 Well I have 1 container but 3 canopies. 1 cruiselite 220 1 sabre 150 1 crossfire 129 (on its way)
 JVig 0 #35 February 18, 2004 two......sigh -------------------------------------------------- Just remember.....if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off. Students deserve a decent de-brief. Oh, and two rigs are not a big deal as long as all the handles are identical.
