CrazyThomas 0 #1 December 13, 2003 So, for argument sake......how long can YOU stand in the snow.....BAREFOOT? Or have you never tried it? Thomas
Brian425 0 #2 December 13, 2003 I've only done it once. It involved alcohol, a hot tub, three other friends. Meet the challenge, get a prize. The only time you should look down on someone is when you are offering them your hand.

Amazon 7 #4 December 13, 2003 I am voting it does not snow here BUT it does snow in Seatttle from time to time...... but one of the nice things about managing to survive to this age ..... is having enough sence not to do really stupid things like running around in snow... barefoot. bobsled92 0 #8 December 13, 2003 I always wound up being the one to put the top back on the hot tub with jockeys or just a chilled smile. Due to that (not by choice) I voted 7+ mins. ****It's better to be careful & take it slow than fall down naked on snow & ice_______________________________ If I could be a Super Hero, I chose to be: "GRANT-A-CLAUS". and work 365 days a Year. http://www.hangout.no/speednews/

Snowwhite 0 #10 December 13, 2003 We used to have a dog that would tell us she had to go out NOW. Sometimes it involved bare feet in the middle of the night. It really is more a matter of air temp. Sub zero is miserable after a second or two, but at 30 degrees it's not a big deal. Right now we have snow on the ground, but the ground isn't frozen. I will be kneeling on the ground most of Monday, in a pair of blue jeans with a hole in the knee. I have been building a wall for a client all of this week, doing the same thing. A little chilly, but no real problem.skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

larry 0 #13 December 13, 2003 Had it happen a couple of times where I ended up standing out in the snow for a few minutes. Alcohol was always involved though, never would end up in such a situation sober.“Now click your heels together 3 times so you can return to Kansas to live in poverty with your teetotaling, dirt farming aunt and uncle!” paraphrased Prof. Farnsworth
Sheenster303 0 #14 December 14, 2003 I've tried it before and I don't think I lasted 10 seconds. It was really freakin cold. I'm not used to too much snowy weather so it's perfectly reasonable I think.I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #

SkyPsycho 0 #16 December 14, 2003 dog broke the lead line once chasing a cat, and i had to run out after him barefoot in pajama bottoms, through the neighborhood thru snow, ice filled slush puddles, etc. dont know how long it was, couple minutes, but i do know it hurt like hell...... _______________________________ HK MP5SD.........silence is golden
dropdeded 0 #17 December 14, 2003 I have this vision of people standing outside barefoot, pants rolled up, beer in hand, staring at thier watches, in the snow. Then running in to sit at the computer and post thier time on dz.com. Oh, and the old lady next door, yelling to her husband, "Harry, look what he's doin now" dropdeded------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

All sun and warm would just be no fun. What's best is hottubin in the winter while it's snowing. Reminds me. Need to get my brother to come hook up the hot tub.
