Jib 0 #1 February 14, 2004 I thought I could make it a month or so without jumping, I didn't think I was addicted. The weather was supposed to be shit. I can sell my rig I thought. It's only a few weeks until I get my new one... NEVER EVER DO THAT!!!!!! -------------------------------------------------- the depth of his depravity sickens me. -- Jerry Falwell, People v. No jumps since November. November was a dropped/floating hackey from wearing thick gloves and not having a good grip resulting in a reserve ride. Honestly scared me enough to ground myself until it's warm enough, or I'm in a warm enough place, to jump without thick gloves. It's your life, live it! Ok, I know it's not an awful lot of gear you have there, but you would think you could afford at least 1 pair of decent gloves I have 2 pairs, one for RW in white, the other for cold days. RevJim 0 #16 February 16, 2004 Actually, I have 2 pairs of Neoprene gloves that I just looooove! Problem is, it's just too cold for the thinner ones, and the thicker ones just don't allow enough 'feel' for me. So, yea, as at least one PM has stated, I have a small amount of gear fear, but at least it's just cold weather jumping related, and not jumping in general. (I've had mild frostbite when I was young on the finger tips of both hands. Those "Sherman" or whatever ya call 'em football gloves do NOT work for me in the winter. Heck, big assed mittens barely work to keep my fingers functional.) Oh, yea, and doesn't everyone count their goggles? It's your life, live it!
