Girlfalldown 0 #1 February 11, 2004 There's so many weird things I've always wondered about in the world. I'm sure other people out there have them too. I was thinking maybe we can post these questions here and if someone knows the answer they can post it. Did I mention I'm bored and my boss is out of town? I'll go first. How do they get the little M & M letters on the candy? -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)
Jarcie 0 #2 February 11, 2004 How do we know our perceptions show us reality? Is reality where our perceptions overlap with other people's? If we are living in an illusion and never know it, is that any different from living in what reality would be if our illusion were real? Don't know about the M&M's, but good question. RevJim 0 #4 February 11, 2004 Duh, lil' fairies with teeny tiny brushes. Everyone knows that. What I want to know is how they carve all those letters into the sides of the asprin tablets without them breaking up, or looking any different than the other tablets. I mean, geeeez, that's gotta be some really small jackhammers. It's your life, live it! Girlfalldown 0 #7 February 11, 2004 We all know that plants are green because of chlorophyll right? Well then what about red plants? Why aren't they green? -------------- (Do not, I repeat DO NOT, take my posts seriously.)
RevJim 0 #8 February 11, 2004 QuoteWe all know that plants are green because of chlorophyll right? Well then what about red plants? Why aren't they green? Because they are not native to this world. They are Martian plants, transplanted here eons ago. Next. It's your life, live it! Darius11 12 #9 February 11, 2004 Now here my question. If man didn’t invent Time would we even care how old we got or ever think it was too late to try something????????????I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
Casie 0 #10 February 11, 2004 QuoteHow do they get the little M & M letters on the candy? How do you put the "m's" on the "M&M's"® Chocolate Candies? The trademark "m" is put on the "M&M's"® Chocolate Candies with a machine designed especially for us, calibrated so the candy shell will not crack during the process. The process is very similar to offset printing. The "m" was first imprinted on "M&M's"® Milk Chocolate Candies in black. And, in 1954 the imprinted "m" on each candy piece was changed from black to white~Porn Kitty WARNING: Goldschlager causes extreme emotional outbursts! happythoughts 0 #12 February 11, 2004 Quote How do they get the little M & M letters on the candy? Same way they get "Fragile" on boxes of glass objects. They have elves with "M&M" stamps. That is way easier than my current job. I am a window washer for those little plastic windows on envelopes.

kansasskydiver 0 #15 February 11, 2004 How do we know that red to me isn't actually blue to you. or that my hair is actually pink, but because that's all that you've ever known, it seems normal to you... Kinda like Aristotle's "The State" where your first 7 years of your life is a dream, and until then you are not actually alive... happythoughts 0 #20 February 11, 2004 If we didn't have time, then we'd be trying to do all this stuff at once. That would be very confusing. Imagine 45 people in a checkout line, all at the register. I am working on a better system though. You get to choose the parts you wish to participate in. The bad parts are put on CD for you to watch and discuss later.
