Viking 0 #1 February 5, 2004 I wrote this over the course of several days with the help my buddy Liz, she choose the picture and I discribed what i thought it would look like to be there. Thanx Liz for picking one that made me really think PLEASE READ THE STORY BEFORE YOU LOOK AT THE ATTACHMENT!!!! . . . . Walking through the woods of a place i once called home. Strolling under the green canopy of interlaced leaves woven so tightly they remind me of the scales of a green snake the branchs..ribs and spine, the worn knotts..eyes, ever watching never blinking and black as the soul of a killer. Slowly moving forward shards of yellowish gold light jet to the forest floor infront of me casting a unearthly and soothing glow. Standing there I feel a cool breeze wrap around me and dandy lion seeds float and twirl around my body. Some suspended as if frozen in time by a shutter, others running away from home as fast as the wind can. I follow those seeds down the trail, twigs cracking and splintering under my feet. Up ahead the trail turns sharply to the right almost as if mother nature wasn't feeling very creative and just couldn't work her magic anymore. Turning the corner I look up and time slows down as that cold breeze slithers up the hill forming the sea of grass into fluid waves of energy that seem to be pulled to a glowing light not far off in the distance. A penetrating voice floats on the air as my eyes are frozen open. There standing in a clearing is a sight not even mother nature can take credit for. Two exquisite creatures of unimaginable beauty one astride the other. Strands of white and gold shimmering in the sunlight. That voice filling the air pulling at me, making me stumble forward. My sight starts to blur, the curtins over the windows to my soul unable to close. I don't want to close them for fear that when they open this sight will be no more. Closer and closer, my sight now only a swirl of green and white. I take another step trying to get closer to that enchanting voice. Thats the last step i take, i feel a white hot pain enter my leg it surges and pumps into the depths of my body, the swirl of green and white is soon joined by black shadow flowing, and stirring. It creeps up my body as i feel myself falling the wind rushing past my ears drowning out all life. My body strikes the forest floor among long blades of grass that surge around me, over me like waves around rocks, wrapping around my body and pulling me home. The voice goes silent. . . . . . . . . . . .I swear you must have footprints on the back of your helmet - chicagoskydiver My God has a bigger dick than your god -George Carlin
