Especially since the Military has the habit of running planes till the fucking wings fall off. Then they weld them back on and run them some more.

Hell, how old is most of the C-130 fleet? How about the C-2 Greyhounds? Or the B-52s?

Also, why are the pics from Navy releases, why doesn't he have one of the plane in a hanger sitting around waiting for someone to buy it?

Ebay super hoax.

I thought the government had to specifically designate a former(or current) military plane for civilian use. Otherwise government only(this includes foreign governments). Hence, you dont see bill gates flying around in a Tomcat. And if this isnt true... can anyone tell me where i can steal.... er.. buy an A-6 Intruder? :)

Allot of old C-130s are still flying, but Lockheed is still building new ones too, C-130J model. I use to be stationed about three miles form where they built them, at Marietta, GA

A few years ago I tried to buy a decommissioned MIG for a publicity stunt. Never actually needed it in the end but they are available for a surprisingly low price. $2000 or less will get you a fuselage which looks the part. You just have to be able to transport it from eatsern europe to where you want it.

Too much is never enough!

All right scud?

Don Kirlin of WFFC fame can get you an actual flyable MiG (He's aready got a few) or L-39's. His import compnay will refurb it and get it air race ready for you too if you want.

Now if I only had a few million laying around to get them...
Yesterday is history
And tomorrow is a mystery
