Perhaps another prize is in order for the pope, but not the peace one. And the Pope's Accelerated Saintification Program is sort of funny. He's really punching saints out. Bush and Blair as peace prize nominees? No. I understand their motives and intentions, which are good if one views 'em as an idealist, but they haven't been good at winning peace. Wars, yeah, but not peace. Maybe if Bush had finished the Afghanistan business before tying up all his resources in Iraq - maybe then it wouldn't seem like such an...insult.
