Your kids love you unconditionally, and that's what makes it hell when you play with their minds during a divorce (or any other time). And the hardest part is loving them enough to let them take you for granted, be idiots to you sometimes, and let them go when it's time. Now if I could just find a guy who likes geeky middle-aged skydivers who don't cover their butt with a sweater Wendy W.
