What would you do for true love?

Recommended Posts

Look at that. Funny so much time has passed, children were conceived and born, wars were fought, dictatorships fell, new plagues surfaced, the terrorist threat alert system has gone through the entire rainbow spectrum several times and we still are together.

What would I do for true love? Just what I did - stayed true to mine:)

For The one....I would do just about anything to keep his love. However I would not compromise my beliefs, morals or my individuality for that person. If it truly is The One, he will accept me for who I am and support me in what I do. I would do the same for him and expect nothing less in return.

Could not agree with you more. When I am with someone, I am all about that person. I love 'em to death most of the time. If I don't love em and they suck, I don't spend much time with 'em, I'd rather be single:P:)
If I find someone that would put up with me for that long, I would do anything for them. I would move mountains or states and swim any ocean or river. I would also hope for that in return or some compensation/appreciation for doing so. I'm pretty simple, don't ask for much and what I do ask for is free: love, time, trust, occasional phone calls or emails, and a good romp in the sack;).

would that more people shared those same needs...
i'll be ecstatic when/if i find someone willing to put in equal personal levels of love, trust, time and energy.....that would wipe away all the cloudy days...

Ok, maybe I need to clarify my statement before someone who reads these forums freaks out on me . . . I was actually referring to Zenister. It just seems like guys don't think that way . . . But I'm just jaded.

And Paige, I'm sorry that your guy is so far away. I've read several of your posts about him and your relationship, and I know that must be hard. [:/] But you can look forward to the next time you get to see him, at least . . . :)

Hmm. I would quit my job in a glitzy downtown Los Angeles high rise and move to the pastoral existence of Fresno for true love.

I did that several months ago. The best decision I ever made.:)

Sounds like you are lucky! Congrats:)

lol...i'm not on the other side of the planet (for the moment) but i'd definately say i'm in the 'trying not to become jaded again' catagory...

seems like i've gotten burned rather badly the last few serious attempts, but if i stick with the 'i'm only playing' attitude, nothing significant ever evolves...of course no one gets hurt either.... just cant win.

oh wait was that being jaded?? gotta stop that..;)

Amy you must have REALY loved him. I can imagine doing a series of desperate things including shooting myself in the leg before I would live in Denmark - they are born retired. Their 5 year old children have the mentality of 75 year old people.

They are all so reasonable and nice and helpful and clean and...the best part is that in the morning you greet them saying 'Moron'!
