What would you do for true love?

Recommended Posts

Most definitely...but it starts with giving your loved one a credit of trust. Risky you say? Sure, but that is the way to do it. If you protect yourself forever, nothing is going to happen. My loved one and I just made it for each other. We trust each other...I dare to say unconditionally, comletely. It is the most wonderful thing that happened in my life. Just amazing:)

mmmm. yes. Knowing when to give that "credit" of trust is a very hard decision to make. It is that first step that is the hardest. How does one know?? I guess when you know, you know. Can the other person make it first please? It feels like stepping off of a cliff to me.

And yes, Hooked--that is a great thing to hear.:)

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love I gain nothing Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away...And now these things remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I know I am at least capable of true love. I love my ex girlfriend of 7 years and she is married to someone else, a really great guy. If a gunman was going to shoot me or her husband and I had to decide, I would choose me because I know she loves him so much and I want her to be happy. If I was married ot had kids that might be different but I truly feel that way now.

Jraf, my man, I have true love. Two lovely women, born a minute apart, who's umbilical cords I cut, love me unconditionally.

I dont know about everyone else but before I read the whole thing I was drawing a pretty disturbing mental picture....Perhaps you should have said "little girls" or "babies".

One of my team was engaged to be married, she nagged him and bitched, the usual story about skydiving. Then he broke it off she gave him the ring back, upon which he pawned it off to get some of his money back and the spent all that cash on 3 weeks at Deland jumpingh his ass off.
Somethings just arn't worth the bother.
