labrys 0 #34 January 25, 2004 Well, gee, Tuna. I didn't get involved with this thread for the sole purpose of arguing. I got into it because I was annoyed at the direction it was going. And gee again, Tuna. You can't claim you've been the king of meaningful threads, eh? It flat out pisses me off that someone could claim that our soldiers have given their lives but are too stupid to know why. The majority of young men and women who have died in the past months are those that joined the service in the last 2 years. They know why they joined. They knew the risks. Anyone who claims otherswise, IMO, is just trying to be a dick.Owned by Remi #?

Most as in well over half. I'm describing the people that I served with, I can't speak for anyone else. We probably had vastly different jobs and worked with different kinds of people. Get serious man, I'm not just talking about Bush here but the only man in the hawkish admistration who deserves our appreciation is colin powell, and he's the most pacifist of them all.
