Gaffers tape on helmet

Hi. I'm going to cut a somewhat intricate logo out of gaffers tape using an xacto knife and apply it to the side of my helmet. I would like it to be somewhat permanent and wanted to know what I should use to make it so. Is there some sort of film or coating that could be applied over it? It's a cookie mxv helmet if that matters. Thanks.

A company Called Bare Metal Foil has decal and decal setting solution. You can use that to print your
design on the decal backing then transfer it to your helmet, followed by the top coat product they have.

or just apply a clear coat of paint over it.

Its Gaffers tape. It aint coming off unless you take it off. Might fray around the edges though.
