its amazing - when you're sober they give you this implement called a "fork". and you get a napkin too!!

You probably get those all the time, when your drunk you just don't notice them (or can't focus on them and throw them on the floor)!

oh yeah - cos Im sober enough to utter intelligable speach, the kebab bloke understands enough english (or at least gesticulation) to know I dont want any damn cabbage, lettuce, onion and the token slice of tomato.

Because I didnt get served it, I don't have to drop it on the floor. :)

talking of food, has anyone ever eaten pidgeon? I went out to China Town last night and we had this huge big platter of stuff (there were 16 of us) and one of the dishes was pidgeon. It was all done up as if it was still alive complete with feet and head and everything all on the plate there in front of us. Nasty. Although theres now one less pidgeon in Leicester Square.

yup - ive had pidgeon. Not bad. Very much like partridge meat or pheasant although a bit tougher.

As for kebabs, one of the best kebabs I've ever had was in oxford from the "kebab kid" and they served it in a freshly baked naan bread instead of pitta.... lovely.

I think it would have probably been a bit more popular if they had removed the head complete with beak and feet from the plate before bringing it out - it was kind of like that scene from Indiana Jones.
