DeNReN 0 #6 January 25, 2004 She looks to have Husky in her....we had husky's when I was growing up...one malamute in particular (Lobo) couldnt stand it inside ..or summer for that matter....was quite common to find him asleep under a foot of snow in the morning...he loved the snow.....the postman never got used to him poping out of the snow and "greeting" him
oldnewbie 0 #7 January 25, 2004 Sometimes dogs are so weird!!! The other day I let my black lab out for a few minutes. He got done and I went out to open the door for him and he looked at me (like i was crazy) and just laid down!! I called him and he just ignored me!! I went out and pulled on his collar, and he just put his head down and refused to budge!! Three hours later with an inch of snow on him, he finally got up and barked, demanding that I let him in right now! (dinner time) Aren't dogs smart enough to know that they are supposed to be cold?? And just how warm are their fur coats!!
Paige 0 #8 January 25, 2004 So cute. I bet she loves it out there with her warm wolf fur coatWe are getting dumped on here in Athens! OMG, we got an inch of snow in less than an hour. Up to 8" by tomorrow and 1/2" of ice/frzn rain. Aside from the rain, she would be in hog heaven looking out my window! canopycandy 0 #9 January 25, 2004 QuoteWe are getting dumped on here in Athens! Snow days in Athens were always so much fun. I was there when they canceled classes for the first time in 20 years. The dining halls had a tray shortage, because the students stole them all to go sledding down Jeff hill. The bad side is, we couldn't get our cars to the grocery, so we had to rely on Nelson Hall grub or snacks from the Oasis. Mmm ... OU, I miss you.
