hookitt 1 #26 March 5, 2008 QuoteHave also heard of Teva's velcro catching poor thrown pilot chutes. Even a pilot chute getting stuck under a foot and the sandle. Which is exactly why I teach positive leg pressure even slight forward movement when throwing. Putting your feet near the BOC or arching REAL HARD while pulling is asking for bridle-foot involvement. <=== which is another topic altogether. My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... squiffy 3 #27 March 7, 2008 Teva induced reserve ride - I was in a junior 4 way team, we launched a crank (which just about flew) - as the outside center brought his legs up after exit his left Teva caught in the d ring of the tails rig - exit one tail @ 12000 feet! No more Tevas after that. Ashley
AndyMan 7 #28 March 7, 2008 Last summer I was practicing intentional road landings for a demo. On one jump I completely trashed a pair of brand new Merrells, and I was flying my large Triathlon. I care not to imagine a similar landing under a small canopy. _Am__ You put the fun in "funnel" - craichead.
