That's interesting. I'm a snake (charming) and my element is wood (high morals and values). I've never heard of the element thing before.

I'm an earth monkey. :D

Monkey
Monkeys are fun and loving persons who are always cheerful and energetic. They are very clever. Give a monkey a boring book to read and he'll turn it into a Musical. Better yet, he'll invite everyone to see it free! That's how talented, creative and generous monkeys usually are.

Earth
People born under the Earth element are serious, logical and methodical. They also possess foresight and excellent deductive powers. They are intelligent and objective and they know where best to direct their resources for the best possible results.
Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.

Im a water pig!

Careful, caring, obliging and chivalrous. Always want to do everything right, and never wants to let people down. Above average skills in interpersonal relations and persuasion. Communicate well. Firm but unobtrusive.

Wow, and now I have a big ego too!

Year of the Horse

If you are born in the Year of the Horse then you are amazingly hard working and very independent. Although you are intelligent and friendly, you can sometimes be a bit selfish. Careerwise you would make a good scientist or poet.

Famous people born in the Year Of The Horse:
Ian Cuthbertson, Robert Wagner, Rolf Harris, Helmit Kohl, Clint Eastwood,Barbara Streisand, John Thaw, Aretha Franklin

Its kinda funny... I was born in the year of the horse, I'm a sagittarius, the horse archer, and I was born on the festival of Posideon, who, in addition to being god of the sea, was also god of horses.

Hey, I'm another 'METAL MONKEY!!' B|
"That's how talented, creative and generous monkeys usually are....." I like this site :D

>People ruled by the Metal element can be highly unreasonable, inflexible and stubborn at times. They are self-reliant and are apt to sort out problems on their own.

>Their strong monetary instincts will effectively support their tastes for luxury and power.

[manicial laugh] Ahhhhh hha hah hahahah!! RULE THE WORLD I TELLS YA!!! [/maniacal laugh]

I'm a Wood Ox :o

Ox people are hard-working and persistent, they can stick at a task longer and go at it harder than anybody. They believe in themselves and tend to classify almost everything into two basic categories, bad and good. They hold up their high standards as a model and severely judge those who don't aspire to maintain these same ideals.

Those born in the years dominated by the Wood element are people of high morals and great confidence. They know the intrinsic value of things and are apt to appreciate all that they have.

Hmm.. first part doesn't really sound all that like me, but the second part is reasonably close. Hmm :S:P

Those of you born under the influence of the Chinese Astrology Element of Earth are wise, serene and prudent, firmly rooted in your morals, ethics and responsibilities. Led by logic rather than emotion, you seek to plan your life as far out in advance as possible, to expect the unexpected and control your destiny down to the last detail. Your disciplined reserve -- which can come across as true grace if you work it right -- garners you respect and admiration.

You're so bound by logic and dependent upon controlling your situation that you have a fear of the unknown. Consequently, you question your instincts, distrusting even your most cherished dreams and seeing your whims as frivolous distractions. Don't be a stick in the mud, Earth Signs; share your wisdom and your peace of mind with a needy world.

Disciplined Earth Signs are willing to work hard for what they want.

Dog people are honest, faithful and sincere. They respect tradition and value honor, and enjoy helping people. The Dog is very righteous, and always is the first to speak out against injustice. He is not good at socializing with friends, and rarely shines in company, but he is intelligent, caring and a good listener.

Cock people are very observant. And most of the time, they are very accurate and precise with their observation. Perhaps, you can say that Roosters have a very keen "sixth-sense". With Roosters, what you see is exactly what you get.

Even cooler – it seems you have an element and an animal – I am a fire snake. Find out what you are here:

http://www.chinese-astrology.co.uk/index.html#search

Vicki

That's actually a better way of finding your animal than the first link if you're birthday is in Jan or Feb. The first link just gave years, but the Chinese New year doesn't start on Jan 1.

BTW - we just started the year of the monkey - I vote we just call it the year of the skymonkey. :D
it's like incest - you're substituting convenience for quality
