WFFC 1 #28 January 16, 2004 QuoteY'all do realize that Registration will be about $90. if what i hear is true about that and other increases. That'd kinda steep for a registration fee, even for a Boogie such as WFFC. Did you hear it from me, Beth, Bernice, Don or Ellen? It's probably not true. I don't have all the specifics yet, and what I've heard was from the paper - Registration will be going up $10 to help fund the city's building of the shower houses. Pre-Registration begins May 1st. It's coming...

lawrocket 3 #34 January 17, 2004 QuoteQuote Settled, most likely. - Jim NO, it was dismissed. NOT settled Well, in my experience, short of a dispositive motion, cases really don't just get dismissed without some form of settlement. Why? In California, if a plaintiff simply dismisses a case, the plaintiff is liable for costs of the suit (that means the money spent defending the case except attorneys' fees). I dunno about Illinois, but I would suspect that there was some form of settlement that predated the dismissal. Know this - once a case settles, it has to be dismissed. A settlement is a private contract. So, once the settlement is reached, the plaintiff dismisses the case. My wife is hotter than your wife.

Apparently their scheduled maintenance went south. Freefall.com is currently unavailable and has been all day. As soon as I know what's going on at the ISP, I'll post an update.
