Bag is made for the container, so long as you're not trying to shove a canopy that is too big for the container, you should be fine. Whats in there now, what are you putting in it, and what size is the container?"I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
theplummeter 15 #3 January 6, 2011 Infinity I44, has a crossfire 149, I'm putting a Pulse 190 into it.

That is going to probably be a tight fit, I would think you could use the same bag though (just keep in mind, it will be more stuffed than before) Atleast it helps that the Pulse is a hybrid, so it should pack a little nicer."I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
likestojump 3 #5 January 6, 2011 the I44 is designed for a 170 ZP. According to PD the Pulse 190 packs half a size smaller than a Sabre170, and the same size as a Spectre 170 re : http://www.performancedesigns.com/packingchart.asp so based on that, and my experience with a new Saber2-170 in an I-44 I guess it should be no problem :)

davelepka 4 #7 January 6, 2011 Negative ghostrider. The bag stays with the container, so anything you can't fit into the bag, you can't fit into the container. The bag is cut so that it's the same size as the inside of the container. If you use a bigger bag, the container flaps won't fit around it, and if you just pull on them until they do, you can blow the grommets right out of the flaps. As for what will, or won't, fit into your container, it sounds like you'll be fine.
billvon 2,998 #8 January 6, 2011 >Should I change the deployment bag and/or pilot chute if I'm >putting a larger canopy into an old container? I'd stick with the original bag. The rig is going to look (and work) better with the original bag than with an oversized one.
theplummeter 15 #9 January 6, 2011 I just figured I'd add that it's easier (by a large margin) to get the Pulse into the bag than it was the Crossfire.
