caress 0 #27 January 14, 2004 I wouldn't say there is a wrong way to have sex, however there is cases where it is a waste of time. It would have been better for all involved to just "go off" into a napkin, it would have been less messy, and more intense. I think sex burns calories I am a total believer in that . I think if you stop having sex, because your mate left, you have more free time to do the things you want to do-thus losing weight. I just call it how I see it!-Caress I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being right.
EdC 0 #28 January 14, 2004 Being fat also helps you not have sex. Been there, done that and I've got the t-shirt. Big Ed
Vertifly 0 #29 January 14, 2004 Yeah, I gotta agree. I've never been fat, but I have gone without sex for a while (i'd imagine many of us have due to circumstances beyond our control). But I'd rather have lots of sex and be fat, than not have sex and be skinny. Sex just rocks and it keeps on gettin betta!!!
whatever 0 #30 January 14, 2004 QuoteI'd rather be fat and happy! damn... one of my ex-girlfriends used to say: 'fat and happy' funny, most of time she wasn't either... soon to be gone

AggieDave 6 #36 January 14, 2004 Your testosterone levels decrease when you're not having sex, so you're sure to loose some muscle mass. That'll definately show up on the scale, although I'm more then sure that muscle probably isn't the weight you wanted to loose.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." jumprunner 0 #37 January 14, 2004 QuoteWhen you are constantly "blowing your load" (if you will), then you are constantly depleeting your body of testosterone. If you store up testosterone, it might help you exercise better, and thus lose more weight...but in reality (as far as I know), sex and weight loss have no distinct corelation. (If anything, having sex helps you lose weight 'cause it's actually pretty good exercise....that is unless you're just laying on the bottom the whole time. ). -Kramer I have been wondering about this myself, I think testosterone can either be used for sex or for anabolic effects (losing weight and building muscle) Ive noticed that my sex drive is being depleted after working out, ie if I work out a lot which I do then I have a lack of sex drive, but if I dont work out for a while it comes back. So it seems like testosterone can be used for one thing or another. I have a sports doctor, according to him sex releases testosterone but Im pretty skeptical about that. There is also the thing about DHT (dihydrotestosterone) which is what happens when testosterone hydrolyzes and binds to prostate receptors, dont quote me on it but I thing high DHT increases sex drive. AggieDave 6 #38 January 14, 2004 There's a fineline there. Too much sex and your testosterone is low, too little sex and your body doesn't produce as much. If there really is anything called "too much" sex.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."
skydivingchad 0 #39 January 15, 2004 I'm with craichead, when Chad and I met I weight 35 lbs more and he weighed 10 or 15 lbs less than we do right now. So apparently sex makes me lose weight and him gain it. Hmmmmm. Sure makes one speculate. Mrs. Chad Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug.
