theonlyski 8 #1 January 14, 2011 Anyone have any experience with the Pfaff 130 for canopy/line work and maybe some jumpsuit repairs? I found one for $50, wondering if its worth buying, converting to electric and using as my sewing machine. Also, how tight can you get the zigzag?"I may be a dirty pirate hooker...but I'm not about to go stand on the corner." iluvtofly DPH -7, TDS 578, Muff 5153, SCR 14890 I'm an asshole, and I approve this message
gowlerk 2,249 #2 January 22, 2011 Those usually sell on Ebay for about 150 to 200. Head only. I've never seen a treadled one before. You can get a new motor and controller for about 50. Or just take a used one from an old sewing machine. Pfaff 130s are generally considered desirable and reliable and are in demand by boat owners for sail repair. They often will mount a hand crank to them and not use a motor. KenAlways remember the brave children who died defending your right to bear arms. Freedom is not free.
