QuoteQuoteIt is actually a Dolphin. Look at the tail fin. It goes Horizontal. Nice pick though. Watch out for Ivan.
Do you think he knows that in that moment? I'm pretty sure he's thinking "Oh Shit, Oh shit, Oh shit....."
I've been in that situation before, and thats about what I remember saying.

It's still enough to scare make me not want to go into an open body of water for a while.
Life doesn't have to be perfect in order to be beautiful!
Reminds me of way back when ... I was at Wrightsville Beach in NC. This was shortly after Jaws (1977 maybe?) My wife and I were in the water and we both saw a dorsal fin. We looked at each other and both of us said, "You see that?" We lookedaround and EVERYONE else was out of the water except us. Don't know for sure, but my best guess says it was a dolphin. Phew! Took a while for our hearts to stop racing!

I remember hanging out with some friends on a sand bar in the atlantic off of Ft Lauderdale beach. I caught a glipse of something out of the corner of my eye what looked like a floating log or something.
Just as I turn to it thinking "hmm, odd place for a log to-" it vanished.
I looked around for a few seconds and finally spotted him about 10ft from where he was only now he was just inches off the bottom, about a 3.5ft barracuda.
until I recognized what it was, that had a pretty decent pucker factor

We'd eye him , he'd eye us, some would catch the next wave regardless and the shark well... He always just disappeared..... Leaving you with the old feeling of you are not alone.(insert Jaws soundtrack)
Blue's are considered dangerous to man, avg length 5-7ft.
