Sheenster303 0 #26 January 7, 2004 QuoteQuoteI've officially changed my vote to Shaniqua Bonquita or Shaquiqui. Those are fun don't you think? I think you just need a snack. Those are names for brands of bananas. Ah yes........I like that..... How about we name the baby Chiquita Banana Smith or whatever the last name is? I like that idea even better. Chiquita Banana........she better end up being a healthy eater......I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
sdgregory 0 #27 January 7, 2004 How about Idaho? We could name her Idaho and see what kind of therapy bill we will need by the time she is 16.

quade 4 #30 January 7, 2004 Ok, seriously. My preferences in names has more to do with the consonant and vowel distribution. Males -- hard consonants, preferably at beginning and ending. Females -- soft consonants, preferably ending in a vowel. If you look at naming conventions world wide and across cultures, you'll see this trend as well.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
sdgregory 0 #32 January 7, 2004 But quade that is unoriginal! Time to mix things up! From now on all boys should have soft consonants and end in vowels. You know like a boy named Sue
Sheenster303 0 #33 January 7, 2004 Under that same thinking, we could also name the baby Uranus. I'm sure a good therapy bill will come from that too. Myanus?.......No URANUS!I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #

bshl 0 #37 January 7, 2004 My youngest son's name would have been Sierra Ashley if he'd been a girl. We agonized over whether to go with Sierra Ashley or Ashley Sierra for a while. I finally called a former coworker and asked her what she thought about her name. She said she loved having an unusual (but not freakish) name and recommended Sierra highly as a first name. Methinks it's quite pretty. Blue skies and happy landings!
sunshine 2 #38 January 7, 2004 Lacie is an awesome name for a girl. Hrm, but since you already have a Lucy, maybe thats not such a good idea. ___________________________________________ meow I get a Mike hug! I get a Mike hug!
jfields 0 #39 January 7, 2004 Been looking at that one, and others, Ivan. I've also pretty much decided to rule out any name in the SSA's list of the top 50 most popular. I don't want my kid to have the same name as half the other kids in his/her class. But thanks for throwing out a helpful link. Honestly, why name your kid Walla Walla Newport News Smith? 2) "The sound of choking will be my child's name" What's with these "Chanahahahka" and "Coughahacka" type names? 3) None of the multiple names, like Joe Kareem Donnelle Rashad Moustafa Muhammed Jones. Something that will be a nice short signature. I'm in the name game now. Still no offical decision. But I've noticed that two syllable names ending in "dan" or "den" are the most popular for boys.
