The ACLU is demanding the case be removed from Marcus' file and that the school apologize to the boy and his mother, Sharon Huff. AdD 1 #27 January 10, 2004 I was schooled at home till grade 5, part of which was 1 on 1 tutoring from a retired prof, which I recommend highly, but when I entered public school I had a really good time from grade 7-12, (too nerdy for elementary school i guess), and I think there is a lot to gain from public school. Then again, if your child can't learn there you have to explore other options. I'm glad I wasn't home schooled any longer though, a lot of my best friends are those I met in junior high and have known since. Also it is harder to be involved in extra-curriculars in home school. He just did it in the name of "policital correctness" so he could get away with it, or so he thought.
