Shell666 0 #1 January 8, 2004 Okay, Ivan ... craichead 0 #2 January 8, 2004 Hm, I didn't do so well...and the one question that I got upset over was about who produces the most potatoes. I answered PEI because my Canadian husband polluted my brain with: It's Bud the Spud from the bright red mud Rolling down the highway, smilin'! The spuds are big on the back of Bud's rig They're from Prince Edward Island! It's actually New Brunswick who produces the most potatoes in Canada. _Pm__ "Scared of love, love and aeroplanes...falling out, I said takes no brains." -- Andy Partridge (XTC)

PhillyKev 0 #7 January 8, 2004 Hmmmm....seems the standard "American's know less about their own culture than Canadian's do" is a misconception. I got 6 right
Amazon 7 #8 January 8, 2004 I got an 8 eh... Not bad for an American I would think.. that whole obscure Prime minister for the shortest time thing... eeeekkk who woulda thunk it would have been so many under 4 months. Guess its from being one of the few North Americans who has actually been in ALL of the Canadian Provinces and Territories.. I even took a ferry in 1986 across to PEI.( yeah yeah I know there is a bridge now). just to say I had been there and saw the House with 7 Gables ( Anne).. but sheet.. every house there has gables.. I remember even seeing single wide Mobile homes in Quebec with Gables... that is taking that whole French Provincial thing to some serious lengths guys... I did love the hockey motif though... on our cable system we get CBC...always a good place to catch a hockey game. During the last Olympics it was a really good place to catch all there was to know about hockey.. as well as the men with brooms.....eh

kallend 2,106 #10 January 8, 2004 I believe the correct answer to "when was Canada last at war with the USA" is 1814, not 1812 as given in the question. The War of 1812 didn't end until 1814.... I was hoping that 2003 would be one of the choices for that one, given the several political and cultural clashes we've been having lately...
