I just had to go shovel out the end of the driveway. A snowplow left a berm in the middle of the night. And it's -19 degress. The high is only supposed to be about 5 degrees. I'm glad I work inside.

I thought OH was bad, then I moved to ND. It was around -21 this morning and I had to go to the store. It is currently -10, but "feels like -33". My toes hurt!

I lost the heater in Fall. Returning from vacation on New Year's I found just the water heater dead.

Got to the DZ the next day and explained that my water heater was dead, but jumping was more important than showering.

Yup, here in chicago, the high is suppose to be -1 w/ a windchill of -22.
My hair froze on the way to the train today (didn't get it COMPLETELY dry) - ugh!!
This, I hate.
I can't believe how it's like 15 degrees colder in Montana... how can people LIVE in that!?!?!

One more year and I'm fully vested in my 401(k).

One more year and I can sell all my crap and move south, where I'll never have to shovel snow, or if I go to a nice desert locale I don't even want to cut grass.

I dream of long riding seasons and longer if not endless jumping seasons. (Not that the cold ever stopped me from jumping, but shorts and Tevas beats long johns and sweatshirts any day.)

One more year and I can leave McHenry County and all the traffic, the NIMBY bastards
and the unchecked (sub)urban sprawl. McMansions as far as the eye can see! McYummy!

Yup, winter sucks!!
Just got back from the WI Dells, the other Chicago suburb (only 3.5 hrs away)... (sub)urban sprawl sucks!! And makes driving horrible.

Besides the fact that a sudden 20 degree drop in temp makes everything freeze. frost bite in less than 1 min today is what the news man said.

Yep, I hate winter. I just spent 24 hrs. with no power. My house was so cold (51 degrees when I went to bed). After the snow stopped we had an ice rain that put 1/2" of ice on everything. Yeah, yesterday sucked. Of course the whole area virtually shuts down because no one should be out driving on these hills covered with a layer of ice!

Damn, that's cold. It's only 19 degrees here in Athens, Ohio. Snow is coming today, I am sure of it. I hate snow.
