Deuce 1 #26 January 7, 2004 OK, I'm uploading 469 pictures to my site. Shutterfly is telling me that is going to take 14 hours. I'm a little dissapointed in many of the pictures because the focus isn't as sharp as I'd like. The overcast had everything so dark, I wasn't able to cheat with the large f-stop that I usually get in the bright light of skydiving. One of the issues shooting with a flash is getting a full exposure, and that happens at 1/200th of a second with the 10D. Another thing I tried for the first time was jumping a zoom telephoto lens at about 135mm. I got the pictures of CoconutMonkey exiting the DC-3 this way, and the Skyhook cutaway, and the neato pics of the three stack at the end of the cross country. So, they are uploading, and I'll know which photos are being submitted to Parachutist soon, so they'll be up when they're up. There's lots of fun stuff, and I hope it's worth the wait.
