Went into a downplane at 3 grand and held it 'til about 1 grand right over the top of the dz. I love the speed of downplanes! Problems just be opportunities in der workin' clothes. Nightingale 0 #6 January 5, 2004 sigh... 0:0:0 no skydives. no sex. but I did get to ride a snowmobile for the first time! that was really cool! Even if we did flip it over twice and I hit my head and on the back of the seat during a REALLY bumpy part and fell off! (hey, it was -13 degrees and in near white-out weather! my hands were frozen... holding on was getting a wee bit difficult at this point). Wasn't as bad as my folks did, though. ChasingBlueSky 0 #8 January 5, 2004 24 (hours it took to drive 1,143 miles home thanks to a nasty snow storm), 0 weather holds during the boogie, 80F the entire trip:5jumps this weekend:0 Well, since I spent all day Sunday driving from Zhills to the arctic north (aka Chicago), I was only able to fit in 5 jumps this weekend. I spent a few hours going about 5mph on very icy roads in Indiana. Looks like I missed a few DZ.com folk while I was at Zhills. It was an amazing Holiday boogie!!!!_________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again..... All that being said, my numbers for the weekend are Faster horses, younger women, older whiskey, more money. Why do they call it "Tourist Season" if we can't shoot them?
