AggieDave 6 #1 December 31, 2003 So how many did you do? This is from Jan 1 last year to tonight, so if you're doing another jump tonight, add it. Fill the poll and say here. Me? I did 590 jumps this year. Not to bad I guess. Next year I want to do closer to 1000 jumps. And I didn't make my goal of hitting 1000 jumps this year, missed it by about 100 jumps. Oh well, I'll hit that next year.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

Sheenster303 0 #3 December 31, 2003 I did one jump and I really hope that I can make that a much larger number next year. I have to do at least eight to get through AFF, so we'll how much more than that I can get.I'm so funny I crack my head open! P.M.S. #
NZL60 0 #4 December 31, 2003 72. Started August 16, 2003. Can we pro-rate? if so, 190.4 Who said Kiwis can't fly?
jmpnkramer 0 #5 December 31, 2003 NOt positive still trying to track some down. TSA lost my pro-track for me and I am not good about keeping the logbook up to date. It is somewhere between 200 and 300. That number should increase this next year though. Laters, KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!The REAL KRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMER! Yoshi 0 #7 December 31, 2003 I did somewhere in the range of 300... I think it may be closer to 250... wish it was more, but that whole time and money thing... I want to do at least 500 in '04... I think I will be able to fairly easily this year.. I did, though, progress quite a bit this year in freeflying..the difference between 200 jumps and 500 jumps was HUGE for me... i feel much more confident now and I have even been in completed 6way head down dives (yeah so I am tooting my own horn a little, but I am pretty happy with my progression) cant wait till I am in the league of the big daddy-o's flying like mad, not happy til I'm doin 160 mph head down with my hair on fire!_________________________________________ this space for rent. NeedToJump 0 #8 December 31, 2003 I think I did about 700 jumps this year but I haven't been very good about logging for the past few months. I did somewhere form 650 - 700 I would guess though.Wind Tunnel and Skydiving Coach http://www.ariperelman.com
skybrat68 0 #9 December 31, 2003 This was a slow year. The weather sucked for the most part. It rained all summer and there's been so many fronts moving thru followed by the high winds since our winter season has started that it's been impossible. I'll probably have around 120 or so when it's all said and done.
Nightingale 0 #10 December 31, 2003 I did 22, but I just started at the end of september!

PhreeZone 20 #14 December 31, 2003 250... Went To Perris, WFFC, Raeford (*2). Bought two Birdman suits, Bought 2 canopies and sold 2 canopies, bought a new car and wrecked it a day later. Season in Ohio did'nt start till May and really ended in October this year too. I'm happier with the quality of my jumps over the volume of them. I'd like to hit 1000 next summer, but 285 jumps does'nt leave me much time to do the other things I want to do also so... it might be a while longer before that happens.Yesterday is history And tomorrow is a mystery Parachutemanuals.com
bclark 0 #15 December 31, 2003 550 - 600. This has been my best year so far. My goal is 1000 next year. I just moved to a DZ where I think I will be able to do it NO PROBLEMO!
KrisFlyZ 0 #16 December 31, 2003 I did 23 jumps this year. Did my first jump on Oct 5th an AFF1, twisted left ankle. Started AFP on Nov 1st after a tandem and did 22 jumps until nov 28th when I broken the left ankle. It could have been 50. What do jump numbers mean to me anyway? moeinthesky 0 #17 December 31, 2003 I got 40 jumps this year starting in June, ending in October when the winter set in. Only 3-1/2 months to go.
Ron 10 #18 December 31, 2003 Around 250-300...I log like shit and can't see buy a ProTrack when I have a perfectly good Pro Dyter. Around 150 were 4way, 30 8way. About 20-25 hrs of tunnel flying this year, and 40 hrs of coaching in the tunnel.....so that kinda made up for my lack of skydiving. I have managed 300 a year for 10 years. 500 was my best year. 160 my best mth."No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers,

AggieDave 6 #22 December 31, 2003 QuoteI'm happier with the quality of my jumps over the volume of them I hear ya. I did do quite a few hop&pops (especially leading up the the TM course, trying to get to 500 jumps), but the upside is that my canopy control is lightyears better now then it was just 6 months ago. Also, about 200 of my jumps this year were tandems. Those, IMHO, are seriously high-quality jumps. I fucking LOVE working with students and getting to take people on their first jump (as well as training with working tandems, Cat A and Cat B). Man, I had a fucking good year.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

SkydiveNFlorida 0 #25 December 31, 2003 Started in July and have 92 jumps total. I think that this poll would be cooler if you only polled those who had been jumping since january. It is going to be rather inaccurate to find an approximation of how many jumps one makes in a years time due to all of us who just started this year. Maybe leave out those who took off signifigant time due to injuries as well.? I am not going to vote, tho, cuz i'd have a lot more if I had those other 7 months to work with. Angela.
