happythoughts 0 #30 January 4, 2004 QuoteLook, if the clothes are in the dresser then he can't really coordinate his clothes now can he? A dresser? Why keep your clothes in a box? I have 5 stacks of t-shirts that sit on my closet floor. They are arranged by workout, skydiving, scuba, other sports. I can immediately see if the appropriate shirt is clean. I can see my entire selection and make an instant evaluation. Think "out of the box". (My contribution to the irritating phrases thread ).

happythoughts 0 #40 January 4, 2004 It is just a matter of deciding what is the goal? If it is neatness, then people who put their clothes in a dresser waste a lot of time. They neatly fold them and put them away. However, to make a selection they have to dig through them (unfolding them). The method contains the seeds of its own destruction. If there was ever a flawed plan, that is it.

Lizard 0 #46 January 4, 2004 Another point, by wearing clothes more than once, he is conserving the water supply. You should actually be proud of him instead of angry.
 happythoughts 0 #47 January 4, 2004 QuoteWell at least you have them organized and in the closet. That's just my tshirts. The rest of my clothes go in two piles on the floor. "Just washed" and "previously applied". They come out of the washer and get thrown on "just washed". I wear them and then put them on the other pile. Pile 2 stacks up. When I run out of clean clothes (pile 1), the ones on the bottom of pile 2 are now clean through some wonderful clothing magic. You just need a good system, that's all.
