What are your skydiving resolutions

Recommended Posts

Besides the Jump Numbers, I have made it my new years resolution to learn to fly 4-way - be able to turn points on the competitive level. Screw Freeflying, When I learn to turn points like a pro, then I'll worry about flying on my head and ass.

*Learn more about flying in every wayB|
*And then, get into coaching
*Get a better canopy:S
*Maybe, if I'm a real good girl:), and manage to be in the right place at the right time with the right experience... try birdman:)*And do this with no injuries.

Should be an awesome year!

Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.

My goals this year are as follows:

1. Get my AFF rating
2. Compete in a regional swoop meet (good learning experience).
3. Get 1000 jumps this year (put me at or close to 2000 total).

- pack 200-plus reserves
- 200 plus tandems
- 100 PFF jumps
- Rigger B rating by the end of March
- start Rigger Instructor Rating (not sure if this is a 2-year project)
- sew 100 tandem-cams
- sell 100 tandem-cam videos
- develop square drogue
- finish Commercial Pilot License

Gosh!
Where am I going to find all the time to do all those things?
Maybe I'll have to stop post-whoring.

I have been in this sport for a few years but there is still so much to do and work on! As Lisa said before, my #1 goal is not to die. Other than that though:

-Get better at my sit and get stable/proficient on my head
-Have my 4-way team get either 1st or 2nd in the A class in the Michigan Skydiving League--last year took 3rd
-Work on canopy skills/get more performance out of my canopy
-Try some crew
-Jump my butt off!!
-Improve my BASE skills and jump off more objects
Editted to add: Fly camera and work with more students

hmmm...I think that covers it!

My skydiving goals this year are to help my hubby in every way I can to get his license. Be supportive, and help him go safely on his way to see his dreams. Next year is my turn!:)
I've learned.... That being kind is more important than being
right.

To do more solo's actually and work on accuracy!
I have 545 jumps but I want to do a more honest landing accuracy requirements for D-license, I haven't really made a point to land in a specific place
,I just land in clear area close enough for the truck to come pick me up! (alive that is!) har har
Also, the thought of Style & Accuracy has enter my mind for some reason..maybe even learn and get good enough to compete.
