skybytch 273 #1 December 30, 2003 Miles and miles of asphalt in front of me... and behind me... An incredible lightning show in Texas. An incredible rainstorm in Louisiana. Getting soaked in a carriage in St Augustine. Meeting someone really special. Breaking the dz.com RW record again. Watching my son solo an airplane. Partying with Chuckie Blue - okay, so most of these memories are vague... Spaghetti sauce. The view of "home" in the rear view mirror as I started the drive to my new "home" in FL. The flagpole slalom. What pops into your head when you think about your 2003?

dzdiva 7 #3 December 30, 2003 Good times with family and friends. Not as many jumps as I would like, but the ones I've done have been nothing less than awesome. Making new friends, losing others when it just shouldn't have been their time. Miss you, Lee. You're with the angels now. Whipped cream! Finding love.....losing love. Sigh, morals. Body shots. Jello shots. Jello body shot passes. Runway numbers. It's ALL good! It's your life, live it! Jarcie 0 #11 December 30, 2003 First skydive, and starting AFF... Racking up more frequent flier miles than I'll have time to use. Mini-baby boom among friends and family in the Spring -- they started recognizing me at Gymboree! Moving, and liking it. Watching a couple years of work start to pay off at the job. Realizing I was completely over my last relationship, and then becoming friends. Enjoying the moment, and working for the future. Yep, I really feel like I did that this year. Great idea for a thread!
Vertifly 0 #12 December 30, 2003 Most skydives in one year. A nice early start to the season. Downsized to 109. Dropzone hopping. Museum hopping. Project Horizon and Fat Bastard taking the remote car to WAL-MART. HEHEHEH!!!! A second rig. Clucker Testing. Started my business and it's a success thus far. I finally got my nice/new camper at the DZ. LOTS AND LOTS OF PARTYING! Nationals. Visited Dad, Grandma, Grandpa. Best man at my brothers wedding. A good excercise and health year. A $200 plate at Morimoto in Phili. YUM YUM. My job is 20000% better because now I'm in charge. Meeting all of my new friends at the DZ - even after so many years of going there... this is the year that we really connected. 2004 is slated to be even better. Muenkel 0 #15 December 30, 2003 The good: Starting AFF...finally! The birth of my nephew. Meeting some dz.commers in person. Namely, SkydiverBrian, JessD, Howard White, JDBoston, Michele and Sinker. Making new friends on dz.com The bad: Perforating a membrane in my inner ear canal on Level D-1 of AFF. Serious head injury. _________________________________________ Chris
Sheenster303 0 #16 December 30, 2003 First Skydive Strengthened many old friendships and gaining new friends in the process Killed old car for new car Make a whole dollar more at work Got mostly Cs in my classes Riding the subway and having some random guy sing "You are my Sunshine" to me Had a man, then let him go, then took him back and then let him go again. Finding out that I am one of the luckiest people in the world because I haven't had to go through the trials of what some people go throughI'm so funny I crack my head open!
